New slab? Coat it before winter

The biggest mistake we see on new Lehi homes is leaving the garage slab bare for a few years. By then it's already absorbed oil, road salt, and the wear of hot tire pickup from summer heat. Coating early seals the concrete while it's still clean.

For new construction, we let the slab cure (usually around 30 days after the pour) so it has released enough moisture, then diamond-grind it to bond the coating mechanically. That prep step is the difference between a floor that lasts a decade and a DIY kit that peels in a year.
